Hi there! I’m Penny. I’d like to share a little bit about this site.
I’ve always shared recipes with family and friends. After working as a nurse for many years I decided to return to school to pursue a degree in nutrition when I saw how much of an impact nutrition made on health. In May of 2015 I graduated with a degree in nutrition, finished my internship and passed my boards to become a registered dietitian. That’s when people really started asking for recipes.
I began blogging to share my low carb/keto recipes as well as other easy recipes over at the site Remake My Plate. As time went on family and friends asked me about the latest kitchen gadgets that came on the market. I’ve tried lots of them and wasted lots of money. They never lived up to the hype or I found that they were too much work and it was easier to cook meals on the stove, in the oven or in the crockpot.
I swore off trying new kitchen gadgets until the air fryer came along. I held off of buying one as long as I could and now I wonder why I waited so long! This thing is amazing! So amazing that I have several of them now and we use it every single day.
If you have put off buying an air fryer don’t hesitate any longer. There are sooooo many foods you can cook in it….and not just french fries! Though it does make fries crispy and delicious.
But that’s not all it can make.
- It cooks faster and makes food crispier than your oven.
- You don’t need a ton of oil to get that crisp fried flavor and texture (perfect for those looking to cut back on fat/calories).
- It can cook just about anything except soup or things with a wet batter.
- It’s so easy to use.
- Cooking for one or two people? You can easily whip up a whole meal for 1 to 2 people in the air fryer.
I’m constantly cooking up new recipes and will be sharing them here. If you want to find out about the newest recipes and cooking tips then sign up for the newsletter.
I love hearing from readers so please get in touch. You can reach me at Everyday Air Fryer Recipes.
If you’re a site owner and want to share our photos and work, please feel free to grab one photo, a small snippet of the recipe, and link back to the shared article. Then let us know! That way we can help share the love!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the recipes.
