These air fryer baby potatoes are so easy to make you’ll find yourself making them every night! They are totally irresistible. Crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Use your favorite seasoning on them or stick with just salt and pepper.

The whole family loves these air fryer baby potatoes. You can use any variety of baby potato you find in your local store. We’ve made them with red potatoes, tri color potato mixes, baby Yukon Gold potatoes or any other variety you can find. They all come out delicious from the air fryer.

How to make Air Fryer Baby Potatoes

Ingredients: for Air Fryer Baby Potatoes:

Baby potatoes – use whatever variety you find in your local store. I used a blend of baby Yukon Gold and red potatoes.

Olive oil – use olive or your favorite light flavored oil (vegetable, canola, etc)

Seasoning – salt, pepper or your favorite seasoning mix. We love using a Cajun seasoning blend on our potatoes.

Steps for making air fryer baby potatoes

How to make Air Fryer Baby Potatoes:

Wash your potatoes and pat dry. Slice in half.

Drizzle with oil and mix so the potatoes are coated.

Sprinkle with seasoning mix.

Place the potatoes into the air fryer basket in a single layer. Set the temperature to 400 degrees. Cook for 10 minutes.

Remove the basket, shake the potatoes and then cook at 400 for another 4 to 5 minutes or until the potatoes are crisp around the edges.

Storage Instructions

If you actually have any leftovers you can store your air fryer baby potatoes in a storage bag or a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

To reheat them place the leftovers back into the air fryer basket and cook for 2 to 3 minutes at 400 degrees.

Baby Potato Toppings

These taste delicious as they are with just a sprinkle of salt and pepper or your favorite seasoning.

What to take them to another level? Then top your crispy baby potatoes with some of these:

  • A drizzle of ranch dressing
  • Sour cream
  • Bacon bits
  • Green onions
  • Your favorite shredded cheese
  • Hot sauce
